I saw a child blow bubbles in
A park the other day
A gentle breeze then picked them up
And moved them far away.
As I continued watching him
His eyes alight with love,
My mind was with the bubbles as
They drifted far above.
I saw one bubble rest upon
A green-kissed patch of earth,
And realized each orb contained
The breath that gave them birth.
Within that breath I sensed the thought
The small child had that day:
That he could touch the universe
And change it in this way.
